What the per-seat tax actually costs.

Legacy tour software often charges €30–€50 per seat, per month. A 12-person crew can run €400+ monthly — before add-ons. The same crew on TouringBase Professional: €50. Total. That's the cap, not the starting point.

Typical per-seat platform, 12 seats €400+/mo
TouringBase Professional, any size crew €50/mo
Competitor pricing varies; figures are illustrative of common per-seat licensing in the touring software market.

Pricing questions

Do we need to be touring to use this?

No. Band HQ is the half of TouringBase that has nothing to do with the road — features, tasks, priorities, three views, private ToDos — and it's free on every plan. Plenty of bands will use it for months before they book a date. When they do, the tour side is already there.

What counts as an "active user"?

Someone in your organization who signs in and changes something during the calendar month — ticks a task, moves a card, edits a day, adds a guest. Signing in to read isn't enough, and an account that doesn't sign in at all that month is never billed. Either way the invoice stops at €50.

Is Band HQ limited on the free plan?

No, and it won't be. Unlimited features, unlimited tasks, all three views, private ToDos for everyone. The free plan's limits are 5 members and 1 active tour — that's the whole list.

What happens if we outgrow the Free plan?

Nothing breaks. Your data stays put — you just upgrade when you want more members or parallel tours.

Do you do annual contracts?

No lock-ins. Professional is month to month; cancel and you fall back to Free, data intact.

See it with your own band.

The free plan is the real thing — no trial clock, no locked screens. You don't need a tour booked to start.
